Whitford

Situated on top of the ridge overlooking the whole width of Auckland peninsula from East to West coast, this house is synonyms with the landscape.

Our decorating approach was to make sure that nothing separates this house from its surroundings. The white walls melt away and you discover that you arrived at the place where the land meets the sky.

Large windows dissolve the division between the interior and the surrounding landscape. There is very little colour inside the rooms. This backdrop is left uncomplicated to provide a neutral setting within which a more finely crafted objects stand out.
